Todd was very knowledgeable through the whole process and very attentive. We were building a new home through a builder and he continually checked to make sure everything was correct and gave us updates. We also sold our previous home with him. Todd helped us buy and sell this past spring. We started the process with him in February and officially listed March 13 and were under contract after one weekend. Todd helped guide us on the best ways to market and stage our home, was willing to put in the work to help us get it list ready, and marketed it in multiple locations. While he was working on is getting listed, he took us out on showings whenever we requested and helped us find our next home. From the beginning of our moving experience, Todd Strawser handled everything possible on the Colorado end of our move. Todd has a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of real estate in Colorado, including new builds, existing properties, property value drivers, and even environmental considerations. Todd began the process by helping us to put together a profile of the properties we might be interested in. Once we had this developed, Todd began to send us properties that might fit our profile. We selected properties that we thought we would like to see and Todd arranged showings for us. This might all be standard but one of the values that Todd adds is sound counsel on properties in the area. In our case, our original property profile was not ideal. Todd offered his insight on properties that would better fit our family and lifestyle. We were able to revise our profile, and Todd found us homes that were a much better fit. Todd is also very patient. We looked at 15 different homes, and felt throughout the process that Todd had our best interest in mind the entire time. In our case we narrowed our selection down to two homes that we thought would be great places to live. As we considered our offer, Todd dug in to the available information on both of our final selections and found one of them had an issue that could have caused significant expense for us in the future. We would never have found the issue on our own. With this information Todd helped us to develop an offer on the remaining home. Because our new home was a new build, and a slightly different scenario from the builders, Todd applied his understanding of the real estate market here and helped us to make a very competitive offer. Todd understands the entire process, including financing, and used his knowledge to help us aggressively negotiate all aspects of the deal. As a result we were able to buy a home that we never thought we could afford. In addition, Todd managed the entire process all the way through the close. Because we lived in a different state, we were unable to attend certain things like the final inspection. Todd was present and working for us the entire time. And when we thought everything was done and couldn’t have gone any smoother, Todd found in our contract where there was confusion between the builder and finance company, and we had not received everything that we should have. Again, we would never have found this error on our own. The result of Todd’s diligence was an additional $5,000 that we received in the close.
